Golden Gate Bridge

Opening in 1937, the Golden Gate Bridge is named after the 1 mile wide ocean strait it crosses, and at the time was the tallest and longest suspension bridge in the world. 

The best way to experience it is to bike or walk it, on a clear day the views are stunning. It's always windy up there, bring a sweater!
